Children, young people and families play a big part in our church life.

We have a lively Children’s Church on Sundays, a bustling Toddler Group called smAll Saints on Tuesday mornings, and a range of thriving uniformed groups; Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, linked to All Saints which join us for regular Church Parade services.

Children are always at the heart of our Sunday morning services. On the first and third Sundays of each month, children go into our Church Centre for their own activities and share them with the congregation after communion. On the second and fourth Sundays, children join us in church for our Family Communion, which is accessible for all ages (though we always have a craft table with themed activities available too).

We also run regular events and activities for children and families – visit our What’s on page to see what’s coming up.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church runs on Sunday mornings during our main weekly service. On the first and third Sundays of each month, children go into our Church Centre for their own activities and share them with the congregation after communion. On the second and fourth Sundays, children join us in church for our Family Communion, which is accessible for all ages (though we always have a craft table with themed activities available too). We follow the ‘Roots’ worship and learning resources, which follow the same topics as our weekly readings and the changing themes of our church year.

Children’s Church also organises other events and get-togethers, from picnics at the beach to an annual Easter egg hunt and – one of the highlights of our year – the nativity service on the Sunday before Christmas. Many of our children are also involved with the uniformed groups attached to All Saints.

smALL Saints

smAll Saints is our Toddler Group on Tuesday mornings, 9.30–11.15am. We welcome all pre-school children, Mums, Dads and grandparents, for a small donation of £1.50 per family.

We have a fantastic range of toys and games, zoned into different areas appropriate for different age-groups (and whatever takes your toddler’s fancy that day!). There are also craft activities, and we always sit down together for a snack and drink.

We have regular visits from local Children’s Centre staff, and offer a supportive, welcoming and friendly environment for all families.

We hope to welcome you!
